Leaving the UK after our holiday, we ended up at Heathrow several hours early (so that we could drop off the hire car without being charged for an extra day) and had to hang around before we could check our bags in. To stay awake we had coffee and of course I sketched. I always thought Caffè Nero was spelt Cafe – meaning coffee shop, however I found out after drawing this that Caffè is Italian for coffee. My perspective went a bit wonky on this, but I still like the result.

Ha! I’ve never noticed that extra F and I must walk past at least one of those shops each week. I love that sketching a scene means you pay proper attention to it. I have really bad long term memory but sketching a place does seem to fix it in my mind 🙂
