Finally I have finished posting all my sketches from our holiday. This is the first sketch I did when we got back home and spent a good long week adjusting to the different time zone… in more ways than one. Having busted my watch in Kotor I am back to using my old analogue Pulsar watch!

Here is another sketch of my mum – this time with my sister by her side. She was sitting in a slightly different spot from normal, giving her a view out the window into the garden. I struggled with this one a bit and it took me quite a while to get it to a state that I am ok with.

Having sketched my wife the other day, I thought I would have a go on myself. I am not displeased with this – but I think I could improve the likeness. Somehow my face is a bit scrunched up!

After having been banned from sketching my wife for quite some time (due to some quite uncomplimentary efforts) – and after a little cajoling and practice sketching my mum – I was finally allowed to try again. We sat down to sketch each other across the table…and my sketch was approved!
