This sketch was done on our trip back from the port at Balingoan, where the ferry from Camiguin arrives on the mainland. Instead of taking the fastest route to the airport, we took the pretty route over the mountains and stopped at a few places on the way, including at this giant concrete statue. My sketch might not show it but the statue is 75 feet high. I drew this in about 10 minutes while my family lit some candles.
