Yesterday we went for our regular monthly day hike – this time up Mt. Ayaas in Barangay Mascap, Rodriguez, Rizal. This sketch might look like all my other sketches from mountain tops, but for me what’s important is the observation involved in doing a sketch when I get there. This hike didn’t take us more than 1 ½ hours to get to the peak, but it was really hot and sunny so we all drank gallons of water and cold drinks. Plus I am tinged red in various places, despite the generous application of SPF50 sun block!
