68-2229 – Getting clamped

This morning, after dropping my wife off at the French visa facilitating services office, I had a while to sketch in Makati. I wasn’t clamped but the white car in front of me was while I was sketching this. Meanwhile my wife was paying a massive fee and submitting, hundreds of supporting documents, to get a Schengen visa. For Europeans to travel to the Philippines, you just get on a plane and show up… and you get a visa on arrival for free.
