2044 – In the post office

Here is the second sketch I did during the sketch-walk with #UskManila last Saturday, at Manila Central Post Office. I found it relatively cool inside after having sat out front for an hour. We were told afterwards that some of that heavy wooden furniture is original (from the 1920’s I suppose). The building is normally closed on Saturdays – so we had it to ourselves, apart from the cleaners who were working hard to keep that lovely floor all shiny!
