On Sunday 14th April I met up in BGC with some friends for a day of impromptu sketching. We met up at the Maybank Performing Arts Theatre and started by sketching this sculpture that is outside. Try as I might I couldn’t find a thing about what it’s called or who the artist is.

I have had the same problem identifying public sculptures. Take a photo, then try google lens. It’s worked for me so far. Good to give credit.

Me too – public art. I’m finding it fascinating, there’s so much out there when I actually bother to look! Lots is marvellous, but some, cringeworthy. I’m not keen on public figures or realistic statues.
