This sketch was done while we waited to get into Day 2 of the Aurora Music Festival, held in Clark. We had driven up after lunch from Manila, dropped our stuff at an airbnb place and quickly headed over to the festival…only to find that we had to queue up for 1 ½ hours because of some silly problem with printing wrist bands. After all that time, the crowd (of hundreds and hundreds of people), started to get restless and were calling out “let us in” (well I did at least)…eventually they let us in without printing any wrist bands. We enjoyed the bands that we did manage to see…”Orange and Lemons” and “Parokya ni Edgar” and “Kamikazee”…but unfortunately we had to go home before we could see Rico Blanco.
