Sticking with my subject of sketching shoes, these #Converse (which are platform!) were a Christmas present for our youngest daughter. They look nice and fresh (I hope), rather than a bit worn out, as I sketched these before she’s had a chance to wear them!

This is great! I’m quite intimidated by shadows, but they have such an impact on a piece that I hope someday I will set my fear aside and give it a go.
Yeah go for it! To me the shadows often make or break a sketch
