Here is another #Sketchtober2023 effort following the prompt of ‘meal’ for Day 18. Beiruti Bites (a fast food place specialising in Shawarma) is a good choice for a vegetarian meal – mine was a “challenger” size falafel sandwich. I struggled to sketch the crumpled up tin foil for this one (it kind of ended up looking like a rock?) – that was the second challenge!

Contrary to your subjective “involved artist” response to not quite capturing the aluminum foil, I thought it was very well done. It appeared to be that immediately to me. I think it’s the values and choice of colors that make it work. Good job!
