70-2290 – Red carpet

Here is my last sketch from the #UskQuezonCity sketch-walk last Sunday. For this one I sat under the Chinese arch and used a Chinese brush which my friend @najsketcher kindly gave to me. I think the red carpets were laid out for some Chinese officials who were joining the celebrations. As these people arrived the police cleared everyone away from the pavements…but they left me sitting under the arch sketching away, which was kind of them.
