After another 7 hour minivan ride from Kilinochchi to Colombo I checked back in to the Colombo Court Hotel. This is the view out the window. Nothing spectacular, but the last room looked on to a weeny courtyard and in Kilinochchi the frosted glass gave me no view at all.

Nicely architectural — and then those amorphous clouds to mix it up a bit. Yes, that’s a nice view. Wonderful drawing of it, too!
Such a relief to see something other than a blank wall
