1711 – Parked cars

On Sunday I joined my sketching friend @TheArtofBeingPresent for another Zoom sketching session. The last two times I have sketched our swimming pools so this time I decided to have a go at drawing cars. I enjoy sketching cars because of all the reflections – though this one had the added complication of shadows from that tree. The car on the right (only an outline) left soon after I began and then the car in the middle also headed off before I could really finish.

  1. Cars have a way of moving. Like cats. But fabulous drawing. I know what you mean about the reflections off their surfaces. Sometimes one finds the most enchanting landscapes reflected on the sides of cars.
