As we can’t meet in person I decided to sketch my mum while we were on a Skype chat the other day. She stays in a nursing home in the UK and I live in the Philippines. The Philippines has just been “red-listed”, so that means even if you are allowed to travel to the UK, you have to quarantine in a government approved hotel for 10 days costing well over 1,000 pounds! There go our summer holiday plans. This doesn’t look much like my mum…I could blame that on her not staying still, but in truth I’ve never been much good at faces.
