On Friday I finally got out of the house for a while – I was in Global City for the day, getting our car serviced and getting some checkups. Having a bit of time to kill while waiting for the car to be ready I thought I’d do a sketch along the High Street of BGC. Unfortunately there are signs all over saying “no loitering”, so in order to sketch an outside view I got a coffee and sat outside Starbucks. The little place I sketched is a milk bar apparently – in front is a granite faced water feature – which is empty at the moment.
