Even having been out sketching all morning on Sunday, I still wanted to pick up my pen in the evening. I guess whatever I was watching on TV (….I can’t remember now) wasn’t really catching my attention.

I enjoy my morning drawing time, but sometimes in the evening I just have to pick up my pencils or pens and do just a little more in my sketch book, so I understand exactly how you felt. As always, I love the drawing.
There is not much entertainment here in the evenings. TV just doesn’t cut it sometimes!
Drawing can be much more entertaining. 🙂 It’s also really relaxing, I’ve found, so I enjoy just doing a few little practice exercises before bedtime.
I agree…. sketching switches me off from worldly worries
