I had a cup of coffee on our little balcony today as the sun was going down, so (of course) did a little sketch in ink and watercolour while I savoured it. By the time I finished, my ankles were under attack from mosquitos…so it wasn’t quite as idyllic as it might sound.

Well, it looks idyllic! Especially because here it’s currently 22F outside and snow is predicted. (The smiley cup is wonderful, by the way.)
