Here is what I was up to to on the weekend – making pickle. A common brand in the UK is Branston and their catch phrase is “Bring out the Branston”…hence the title of this (and the labels I made). Where we live pickles tends to mean pickled cucumber or gherkin, whereas for me it means more of a pickle sauce, that’s why I make this regularly. It’s packed full of veggies, vinegar and spices and goes nicely with some cheese!
