2009 – Hidden sculpture

This large silvery sculpture is tucked away where almost no-body would see it, hidden around a corner, near the entrance to the underground car park at the SM Aura mall. Why it’s hidden there I don’t know, but I’ve seen it a few times and couldn’t resist a sketch yesterday when I was at the mall to collect some new glasses. I thought the artist was Jefre Manuel Figueras who has done many public sculptures around Metro Manila, but I had a search for this one and couldn’t find it.
