1986 – The Tate

I am skipping a couple of unfinished sketches again – moving on to some done in Liverpool where we are visiting our youngest daughter. We unfortunately timed our trip to coincide with several large storms, and decided to go to the Tate gallery at the Albert Docks (on our first full day), as somewhere dry and warm. I sketched this while we had a coffee in the cafe. It was very cold and windy in that part of town and on the way out we were told to hold on to our glasses as several people had had them blown off their faces!
