Yesterday I had to make my annual appearance at the Immigration Department (something all foreigners who live in the Philippines have to do). I had a nice leisurely cycle ride there and stopped along Pasig river on the way back to sketch this. The river didn’t seem as smelly as it had before and I didn’t know that there is a cycle path right next to the river along this stretch. To the right are are some giant billboards…a common sight around Metro Manila.
