1965 – What I did this evening – making kimchi

Yesterday evening I spent a few hours cutting up cabbage, carrots and radish to make kimchi. This is the second batch we have made…it’s surprisingly easy to make and tasted really good. We made it a little less spicy than the recipe says – only half a cup of chilli flakes instead of a full cup!
