Sitting outside my front door, this is the view I have down to the swimming pool. When I rented this place the photos fooled me into thinking I could do laps. The fact is the pool is only about 1 stroke long! Still, I will have a dip to cool off sometime.

Yup. I like to draw swimming pools. It’s the David Hockney in me
Jennifer Bartlett (contemporary American artist) did a whole series of drawings based upon a swimming pool, called “In the Garden.” She’s not as well known as Hockney, but the drawings are very interesting.
