Friday last week was spent doing some shopping in Brighton – starting with charity shops and ending up in Primark. I am not a big fan of this place as it promotes “fast fashion” (the creation and marketing of clothing fashion, emphasising making trends quickly and cheaply available to consumers). I have worked in connection with the Bangladesh clothing industry and have seen directly how cheap fashion exploits factory workers. Anyway I sat this one out and did a sketch instead.
