Here is my sketch for the Doodlewash challenge prompt of “parks” for last Wednesday 6-June. This is the newly refurbished children’s park in the common area at our place.

I love it. Something very satisfying about this — the composition is so “just there” and you’re in this place, and it’s bright and wonderful, and mentally one doesn’t want to leave. The composition that pulls one inside also has lots of — very friendly — compositional barriers to sort of fence you in. It’s like a children’s park indeed! You want to stay inside and the grownups have also fixed things so that you do stay! Fabulous. You’re on a roll, Jon.
