I guess these tents are set up at the supermarket for the occasional promotional event …they have several of them. Drawing this makes a change from sketching cars, while I am sitting in the car making sure the battery is charged up.

Now that I have written it, I guess that title may be ambiguous…but no I have not sketched some computer specifications, but drew the glasses my wife wears while working on her computer. I think they filter out blue light or something.

We bought some of this extortionately expensive ice cream to celebrate my wife finishing the last submission for her masters. It was delicious but …such a small tub!

Here is the last drawing I did on the @UrbanSketchersKyusi sketchwalk at Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center. I started this sketch thinking I wouldn’t have time to finish it, so I was taking it pretty casually …I think that helped in the end.

Here is the second sketch I did with @UrbanSketchersKyusi on our sketchwalk at Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center. I think I sketched this little gazebo last time I was there – its a rather beautiful spot. While I was sketching this there were people having photo shoots done – someone was nice enough to come over and take a picture of my sketch too.

On Sunday I had the pleasure of joining @urbansketcherskyusi for another sketchwalk – this time at Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center (not much wildlife as far as I could see but a nice park). This is my first sketch …which I struggled with. I got the proportion of the whole structure a bit wrong, so I finished it quickly and moved on to sketching the lake.

On Saturday, after a visit to Manila Memorial, we decided to have a quick breakfast out after getting some catfood in Shopwise (a supermarket). We opted for Starbucks (the only place open and with vegetarian options) and had to sit outside because I had forgotten to bring my vaccination card. This was the view over the road – I do love sketching in Metro Manila…there is always so much colour!

Last night I made Saag Panir (or paneer however you want to spell it). Before I really got into it I had to make the panir. I made it from powdered milk and vinegar, then pressed it for a few hours, sandwiched between two plates and some tissues. It works surprisingly well. While I pressed it, I did a quick sketch.

This sketch is a memento of my wife finishing her third (and final) submission for her masters in Social Enterprise Development (on Wednesday 3rd). I helped out by binding up three copies of her business plan – we were toiling away into the evening to get it sent off, so I missed a day sketching and did this the following day when we just chilled out and binge watched a bit of TV.
