If I don’t use my preppy pen (with the blue sludgy Kung Te-Cheng Noodlers ink) every day, it dries up (update….even every day is not enough…it just dries up anyway). I had to work hard to get the ink flowing when I did this sketch…I next tried a little bit of damp tissue in the cap but that didn’t work either. This is one of the plants (one of the few that grows despite our “black thumbs”) that grows well on our balcony.

I love your drawings! And I love my own preppy pen! I have not had a favourite pen in many years, and now this is the one! When I bought it from the pen store, the wizened older salesman let me know it will dry up at first, and when it does, open it up and pop the cartridge out then dip the tip in the open ink end and put it back together. For me, it worked like a charm! I had to do it often at first but now it’s all good! Hope this possibly helps? (Full disclosure, I was so excited when I saw you had bought the preppy pen LOL)
Worth a try thanks! I think the pen is great, it’s my choice of ink which is the problem!
