You can tell I am running out of things to draw when I start drawing the plate I just had my lunch off (plus the orange peel). But then again I do like sketching these blue fish plates that we bought in Cambodia – that deep ultramarine is lovely.

If there is one thing we have learned from the covid era, it is this: sketching subjects are everywhere. Early in the lockdown, my sketchbook had scenes from the overlooked corners of my own property and everyday window views.
