When I bought this bag in Brighton in the southeast of the UK, the shop owner said to me – that will be a bag for life. He was right, the body of it is made to last. Unfortunately the fixings for the shoulder strap didn’t last long and ever since then I have used some old key rings to hold the strap to the bag….I need some craftsperson to make some brass fixings for me.

I have been watching your posts for a little while and am so impressed that you have such a high number of daily sketches. That is so impressive to me, because that is something I would love to accomplish. Do you have any tips to share for sketching every day, through good times and bad, busy or not, healthy or sick? I would feel so accomplished if I had a string of 2834 daily sketches. Good work.

That’s very kind of you. I find doing a daily sketch a relaxing thing even at the end of a tiring day working. I also like to use it as a way of remembering events and what is going on in my life. My best tip is to just sketch anything…not to wait for something special to come along

Thank you. Yes, I do tend to look for something “special” that is worth investing energy to draw. 😬 I need to make the process the main thing more than the subject.
