1834 – A bag for life

When I bought this bag in Brighton in the southeast of the UK, the shop owner said to me – that will be a bag for life. He was right, the body of it is made to last. Unfortunately the fixings for the shoulder strap didn’t last long and ever since then I have used some old key rings to hold the strap to the bag….I need some craftsperson to make some brass fixings for me.

  1. I have been watching your posts for a little while and am so impressed that you have such a high number of daily sketches. That is so impressive to me, because that is something I would love to accomplish. Do you have any tips to share for sketching every day, through good times and bad, busy or not, healthy or sick? I would feel so accomplished if I had a string of 2834 daily sketches. Good work.

    1. That’s very kind of you. I find doing a daily sketch a relaxing thing even at the end of a tiring day working. I also like to use it as a way of remembering events and what is going on in my life. My best tip is to just sketch anything…not to wait for something special to come along
