Yesterday evening I only had the energy to do this quick doodle. Funny how you can get excited over a few new tubes of paint though. Rather than buying my favourite, very expensive Daniel Smith paints, I got three different more affordable brands to try out (Colman, ShinHan and Mission).

A simple subject but beautifully rendered. Love the shadows. They make it come alive.
