Back to sharing some from my Cambodia sketch books – here is one of Ta Prohm – one of the temples in Angkor/Siem Reap (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ta_Prohm). This was done in pencil and watercolour pencil.
Drawing, sketching, painting every day

I can’t imagine what it’s like to stand in front of something like that. It must be so awe-inspiring. How wonderful to have a drawing to keep from the experience.

I have many many more. I was privileged to live in cambodia for 7 years and visited Angkor when it was still not on the tourist trail. I used to go there for a week and just sit, sketch, contemplate and read amongst the ruins. Wonderful
