This drawing is of Grace Residences – a relatively new block of apartments built by SMDC (SM Dev Corp) in Taguig. This is just a small portion of a massive development of ugly brutal buildings….where their idea of decoration is just an enormous grey stripe! Not graceful at all. I did this in Uniball pen, watercolour, chalk pastels, graphite stick and acrylic ink.
This is one of the blocks of apartments build near Savemore Supermarket near where I live. In the foreground is a Pulmeria Frangipani tree I think. Unfortunately the flowers got lost amongst the greenery.

This was drawn (yesterday) while waiting for some medical test results, using a pilot fine marker, pencil and oil pastels.
Late post and also cheating as I didn’t draw this yesterday (Sunday). Nevertheless, this is one of the drawings I did at the Urban Sketchers meet up on Saturday at Rizal Park. Drawn in water soluble ink, watercolour and watercolour pencils.
Today I had the pleasure of joining Urban Sketchers Philippines 5th anniversary Sketchwalk at Rizal Park. This is one of three sketches that I did. It was a pleasure to join a group of like-minded people. This is done in Acrylic ink and a dip pen, coloured with chalk pastel.
Out on my bike again today, cycling to my bank branch in Sucat. This is drawn (from the window of a Seven Eleven where I had a snack and drink) with water soluble ink and watercolour pencils.
