We visited Memorial Park today (the graves of my wife’s parents) and both of us took the opportunity to sketch in a nice peaceful setting. Today I decided to practice my foliage a bit. This was done in watercolour, watercolour pencils and ink.

Visiting the graves of my father and mother-in-law is a nice opportunity to sketch in a peaceful spot with lots of nature around. I’ve drawn here many, many times. I did this one with a Uniball pen, watercolour, acrylic ink, and chalk pastels.

Here is a view of a mausoleum done while visiting Manila Memorial Park. Difficult to get all the varied types of foliage looking right.
