1713 – Indian mangos

If in doubt draw fruit – that’s my motto in the evenings when I am tired and stuck for something to sketch. Apparently this type of mango commonly grows in India – hence the name in the Philippines. They are usually eaten while still green and a little sour – peeled and cut into slices to dip into Bagoong (fermented shrimp paste).

1416 – Glasses

The prompt for the 11th May #Melogallery #HomeboundSketching was sunglasses…but instead I decided to draw some ice cream glasses…and a few other things laying around on the coffee table. Those are Indian mangoes in the basket…eaten when they are barely ripe. Yummy.
