1273 – Workspace?

I should have been sleeping instead of sketching this, but for a change I was feeling wide awake in the evening. Perhaps it was because I had just worked for a few hours instead of slumping in front of the TV…my mind couldn’t rest. It could have been the coffee also. anyway this is where I worked…there is no desk where I am staying so I have to squat awkwardly in front of the coffee table.

1021 – Workplace in a tiny house

I did this sketch for the #Kyusisketchers weekly challenge of #myfavenook. This is my work desk. It’s built into a wardrobe (the desk is a flap that folds back up to conceal it) that I designed in our bedroom – the desk seat is at the end of the bed. As our apartment is so tiny we have several space saving features like this. I forgot that I had water soluble ink in my pen …hence the faded out ink lines. Oops!

900 – At work below the sign

Trying my hand at getting the Starbucks sign right while two young women pour over their laptop and work. This was done at my usual haunt while waiting for my daughter at gymnastics classes – but this time with my wife who was using up my internet time to research family holidays.

#483 – Jetstar orange and cutout figures

After being back in the Philippines for only a few days, I had to fly to Hanoi for a day to attend a meeting. It’s pretty exhausting doing all this travel, but what to do. I drew this on the way back at the airport in Hanoi – trying just to use black and white and one colour…easy in an airport!
