Whiskey

1838 – Night cap

I am not a regular whiskey drinker but just occasionally I like a small glass of Chivas Regal over ice (or on the rocks if you prefer to call it that). Why Chivas Regal? I think my dad used to drink it sometimes. It’s also an opportunity to sketch the bottle and all the reflections in it.

Here is the second sketch I did on Saturday, following the #HomeboundSketching prompt of “drink”. I am not a frequency whiskey drinker, so we’ve had this bottle in the house for a long time…and now I can buy beer again so I think it will last many more years.
