78-2478 – MiraNila House

It often seems to be the way that my last sketch is the one I am most satisfied with and this was the case again with #UskQuezonCity at #MiraNilaHeritageHouse last Sunday. I did this one standing up near the restaurant they have in the compound…my ink lines being wobblier than usual as my hands were tired!

78-2477 – Fish at MiraNila

After spending ages on a complicated first sketch, I picked something much simpler for my second attempt with #UskQuezonCity at #MiraNilaHeritageHouse last Sunday. There are two of these (concrete) fish, one either side of the main entrance to the house. They are fairly large (about a metre high) and hollow…maybe meant for putting plants in?

78-2476 – Miranila through a tree

I had a lovely busy sketching session last weekend because after sketching at PICC on Saturday, I went on to sketch at Miranila House with #UskQuezonCity on Sunday. This house was built in 1929 and we had a nice long tour inside to see some of the treasures the family have accumulated over the years. I think my first choice of subject was a bit over-complicated and it took me ages to complete.
