1025 – The last chocolate

As I’m still drawing all the Christmas presents that I received, I thought I should draw these chocolates that were given by an old friend – before the last one is eaten! The brand is called “Lick the Spoon” (what a great brand name) and these particular ones are called “The Bish” – salted caramel over hazelnut and almond praline….yummy!

1001 – For men

Here is another of my “thank you for the Christmas present” sketches. I actually got two of these Body Shop shave away kits from two of my brother-in-law’s. As each tub of shaving cream lasts me for a year, I think I am sorted for a long time!

996 – These are white pens

Here is another “thank you for the Christmas present” sketch. These pens were from my daughter, something I specifically asked for so that I can add white highlights on my sketches. They work nicely…but I have to be patient and let the paint dry thoroughly first!

994 – Thank you for caring

So at last I am posting more than once a day – I just have a backlog of drawings I haven’t shared yet. This is another one of my “thank you for the Christmas present” sketches. My nephew bought me this bamboo cutlery set that comes in a little roll up pouch. The idea is you can avoid using the plastic spoons and forks that some fast food places automatically provide (and then throw away!). There is a little card inside that says “thank you for caring with sip”. I guess ‘sip’ makes them – they also seem to make steel straws.

967 – Grow kit table present – sketching thank you’s

As a way of saying thank you to everyone who got me a Christmas present this year I have decided to sketch each gift (as well as doing my usual sketches when I am out and about). It may take me a while, but it also makes it easier for me to think up a subject matter! This one was from my sister and brother-in-law, an extra gift that was opened at the Christmas dinner table.
