After a walk along the cliff we went down to the beach, below the headland referred to as Beachy Head. As I was finishing this sketch it started to rain heavily and we had to run for shelter.

831 – A cliff I guess
On Friday we drove out from Brighton to the ‘seven sisters’ – a series of chalk cliffs forming part of the South Downs. Walking along the cliff tops was beautiful but incredibly windy. We managed to find a relatively sheltered spot for a picnic and I drew this.
