1012 – Magnificent tree

On Wednesday my Tagalog lesson was cancelled so I had a few minutes spare before my daughter was ready to head off to her gymnastics session. Naturally I started a sketch (which I finished off later at home). This lovely tree is in the play area at the school – most of the greenery is actually other trees in the background.

883 – One of those days

I’ve been taking Tagalog (Filipino) lessons at my daughters school recently – kindly offered for free by one of the foreign teachers who can speak it fluently. Yesterday the lesson was postponed so I had a few moments to sketch. This little boy was either tired or had been having a difficult day.

724 – Repeated learning

IGCSE exams began on Tuesday and I had time to kill while I waited to pick my daughter from school where I drew this. These are air-conditioning units…somehow I think it can’t be that efficient to have so many little ones.

669 – Here we are

Yesterday I arrived earlier than expected to pick up my daughter at school, so I sat in their canteen and drew this. “Here we are” was spelled out on the pennants, over what I guess is one of the junior classrooms.

#376 – Tree vs. car

As usual I am behind with posting (but not with the actual daily sketching), so apologies for the flurry of activity today. To start off from a week ago, hereĀ is a sketch I did in the car park of my daughters school while waiting to pick her up from her first IB exam.

Day 234 – Home from school

When my daughters comeĀ home from school it’s my favourite time of day – not only because I love them, but because I can draw them! Our eldest, Louisa, is exhausted every day and usually has a nap on the couch before beginning homework, so I drew her again today using a UniPin pen and watercolour.
