Last Sunday I joined another life drawing session with Sunday Nudes. The model began with a dance and we sketched while she moved, which was different. All the other poses were of 15-20 minutes and my sketches alternate between A4 and A5 sizes. I was most pleased with my third (1005) drawing – or at least her legs! One sketch was done while we were having a discussion about the #MeToo movement.

Last Sunday I had the rare pleasure of joining a life drawing session with Sunday Nudes. The model’s name was Nico and he was kind enough to choose one of my drawings as one of the “winners” and I got a little prize of some stickers! I was most pleased with my first (978) and last drawings (984).

On Saturday I attended a life drawing session organised by PensNBrushes. I won’t post all the drawings – but this is the only one of the male model that turned out OK. Instead of my usual pastel work, I decided to try watercolour and water soluble graphite.

Here is the other drawing I did at life drawing with “secret nudes” on Sunday (got the day wrong in my last post!). The model wasn’t quite as angular as she appears in my drawing and as always, I struggled with the hands and the feet!

I went to life drawing classes with a group called “Secret Nudes” on Sunday. There was only time to do three drawings but it was a nice small group and a good model. The first drawing I barely started before time was up – this one is my second effort.

Yesterday I joined the “Sunday Nudes” life drawing class with @DearPrudence.ph. There was a very nice atmosphere and a good model – who likes complicated poses! This is one of my efforts.
