Here is a quick evening sketch of a reusable coffee cup that I rediscovered …unfortunately I can’t really put it to much use now as the main idea was to use it when visiting a coffee shop. As the dreaded virus is rampaging in the Philippines at the moment, going out for a coffee seems like a distant memory.

This time of lockdown, isolation, stay-at-home or whatever you want to call it, should be an opportunity for me to get round to doing some of those DIY projects I have been planning (translation – projects I keep putting off). Unfortunately, so far, I have only got as far as getting the drill out…then I was distracted by the opportunity to sketch it!

The day I got back home to the Philippines, we went to the supermarket to do a bit of stocking up…no, not panic buying of toilet paper! It was a bit mad at the store – no bread, no eggs, no rice, very few veggies and of course no instant noodles! We did however manage to buy some beer – essential for all that TV binging we are going to be doing, now that Metro Manila is in lockdown and we are not allowed out.
