895 – A new life will sprout

Back in the Philippines and back in the coffee shop, here is a sketch at my usual haunt while my daughter does her gymnastics class. Outside you can see a mess of cables and some Christmas decorations, while passing through the coffee shop were kids dressed for Halloween trick or treat.

Here is an extra drawing I did while on holiday (in the usual ink and watercolour, but with a bit of added pastel too). I enjoyed drawing the tree but wasn’t so pleased with the background. Despite being at the beach, halloween decorations were everywhere!
