Here is my sketch for day 6 of #Inktober2021 following the prompt of “spirit”. This is a little bottle of sloe gin that our friends gave us and that we have been savouring for ages. Sloe gin (not slow gin), if you don’t know it, is a liqueur made with gin and sloes which are a plumb-like fruit which grow in the UK on blackthorn bushes.

1525 – I confess
I confess that as soon as I had drawn this, I opened the bottle and had a nice cool drink with a dash of lime mixer over ice. Yummy. Usually a bottle of gin lasts us years, so I don’t think we could be called heavy drinkers!
