The #Melogallery #HomeboundSketching subject for 5th May was “foot”. I often draw my own feet, so for a change, as my daughter had a snooze this morning, I took the opportunity to give it a try. Her legs are a lot smoother than the knobbly impression my drawing gives.

I got bitten by a huge yellow wasp-like insect when hanging up the laundry last Saturday (it drew blood so bitten is more accurate than stung). It hurt like I’d had a red hot needle jabbed into my foot. Luckily by the time I drew this the swelling had gone down.

As I had promised to myself the other day, I decided to practice drawing feet last night. I used a mirror to draw my own – this is the second attempt as my first go was a disaster.
