Today here is a lighter, faster sketch (in watercolour, ink and watercolour pencil), done just down the road where some labourers seem to be living only in tents. The blue barrels had water in them – there are many construction sites around for DMCI homes (a local housing developer), so I guess these are workers from their sites.
Rode out on my bike today to the post office. However I ended up doing a sketch only a stones throw from the entrance to the development where we live. It was threatening rain again all the time I did this (using watercolour, soluble black ink and a Uniball pen), but today I managed to finish it all in-situ.
This scene is in the yard area behind our condo (built by DMCI homes). I don’t know what they were trying to do here, but the crane was huge and a lovely rose pink/vermillion colour. I did this in watercolour, ink and chalk pastel.
