Here is a late night sketch from last night – immediately afterwards I went to bed, so that’s why I am posting it today. If I can’t think of anything to sketch I often turn to fruit (not turn into fruit of course) and as one of my favourite fruits is banana, we always have some around to draw.

“Bananas again?!” …is what my daughter said when she saw me sketching again on Monday evening, while half watching the TV. I’m not bothered repeating subjects though as it gives me a chance to practice and hone my style!

I didn’t draw anything yesterday. Instead I cleaned up and replenished my watercolour kit. This morning I made up the gap in my daily sketching with this simple drawing – done with Uni PIN pen and my nice clean watercolours.
