When I moved into my apartment in Providenciales my landlady gave me a little tour. At the end of the living room is a small metal bed with a cover thrown over it. She said this is an extra space for guests. On the coffee table I think the bicycle-like things are meant to be wine holders…instead they have rolled up magazines in them. My apartment has character!

I like staying at Airbnb places because they always have character – rather than hotel rooms which could be anywhere. So…this of course leads me to sketching bits and bobs around the houses that I stay in. This is a bit of wooden bric-a-brac that my landlady has in the house.
I’m pretty sure “Big Fish” is the name of the place where I learnt to scuba dive in Thailand…don’t know why that popped into my head!
