1386 – Lunch prepared

On Sunday I joined #Kyusisketchers again for a virtual meet up. The theme was food preparation, so I sketched the remains of my lunch (after I had prepared and eaten it). My favourite choice for lunch is a peanut butter and banana sandwich – I would eat that everyday if I could. Unfortunately we haven’t been able to buy bananas much during lockdown…I just managed to grab one very green bunch off the shelf when I was last at the supermarket. My lunch on Sunday used the last two!

Here is my quick sketch from Saturday following the Doodlewash May challenge prompt of “Lunch”. This is where we had lunch – a little place called Beiruti Bite where you can get felafel sandwiches…yummy.

So instead of a sketch at wherever I ate in the evening, here is one where I had my lunch time on my way back from a meeting. I just passed a place with cakes and sandwiches in the window while walking back to my hotel and decided to give it a try. Outside was a nice view of Hoan Kiem lake…where there was a couple sitting together enjoying the scenery.
