1573 – Little head

This is a late post of a little sketch I did yesterday. We have three of these little wooden carvings from Bhutan – just about 2 inches big. I think they are supposed to be used on one of those light switch cords.

1570 – Little devil

This little mask hangs in our living room (it’s only 4 inches tall). Can’t remember where we got it (though probably Bhutan as we got many masks there). I am not really sure if he/she is supposed to be laughing or just giving an evil grin – but with those pointy eyes I am veering towards the evil look!

1569 – Travel paints

Despite the global pandemic I may be travelling for work soon. So I have put together a little set of paints to carry around with me. I found the plastic box among some ancient supplies and filled it with some nice fresh colours.

1568 – Sea of grey

Yesterday we went out to buy an RFID chip for our car to be able to pass through the toll gates on the Expressway. It is so poorly organised that we had to queue up for at least 2 hours…and that’s when the AC in our car decided to pack up. I had heard that last week people had to queue up for 10 hours! Even though we had a very sweaty afternoon, I managed to do this sketch in between stopping and starting in the queue.

1567 – Crawl

Here is my last sketch for #Inktober2020. The subject was “crawl” and the only thing I thought of was our cat…she doesn’t crawl but she does like to eat creepy crawlies!
